How To: Delete An Account from the Microsoft Authenticator App

Follow the steps below to remove your Norwich account from your Authenticator app. This will allow you to re-setup your MFA for your Authenticator app.

  1. On your mobile device or tablet, open the Authenticator application.

     
  2. Once it is open you will be asked to enter your phone's unlock passcode or fingerprint

     
  3. Once you see your list of accounts, click the listing for your Norwich Account

     
  4. Once it has expanded your Norwich Account, click the settings gear at the top right

     
  5. Click Remove Account

     
  6. If asked to remove the account for this app only, please choose that option

     
  7. Click Continue

You can now start the process of adding your Norwich Account back to the Authenticator App
