How To: Print From Personal Windows Computers

This article will describe how to print from a personal Windows computer that is NOT managed by Norwich ITS.

  1. In a browser of your choice, go to byodprint.norwich.edu
  2. Check to make sure it says "Set up printing for Windows" at the top
    • If it doesn't, scroll to the bottom and select the Windows logo
  3. Click on "Download and run Mobility Print"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Wait for the download to finish & click on it to run it

  5. Install the Mobility Print Software
    1. Wait for "Preparing to Install" to finishUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

    3. Wait for the software to installUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    4. Click "yes" at the User Account Control window (if it pops up) to allow the software to installUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    5. wait for the software to installUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  6. Go back to your browser window, where you downloaded the Mobility print software and click "Connect and get my printersUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  7. Click "Open" on the "This site is trying to open PaperCut Mobility Print Client"Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  8. Wait a couple of moments - you may see something pop up briefly, or you may not. It does seem like nothing is happening, and that's normal!
  9. Open your printer list inside "Settings" and you should see a large list of new printers. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  10. You're done!
