How To: Print From Personal macOS Computers

This article describes how to download and set up the new PaperCut Mobility Print application for users on NON-managed macOS computers.
This should only be installed on personal macOS devices that are NOT managed by Norwich ITS.
Norwich-owned and managed macOS users should use the Print Deploy application on their computer to add printers.

This article will give you the steps to download the  Mobility Print Client for personal macOS computers.

 

1. In your chosen browser, go to byodprint.norwich.edu
2. Click on "Download and run Mobility Print"
3. Allow the download
4. Wait for the download to finish & click on it to run it
5. Install the Mobility Print Software
   1. Double click the package to run it
   2. Click "Continue"
   3. Click "Agree"
   4. Click "Install"
   5. Authenticate with password or fingerprint
   6. Allow administrator access
   7. wait for the software to install
   8. Click "Close"
   9. Click "Move to Trash"
6. Go back to your browser window, where you downloaded the Mobility print software and click "Connect and get my printers
7. Click "Allow" on the "Do you want this website to open PaperCut Mobility Print Client"
8. Wait
9. Open your printer list inside "System Settings" and you should see a large list of new printers
10. You're done!
