Only after completing steps 1 and 2, connect to the guest network on your macOS device
Norwich-managed iPads and Apple Computers get this certificate installed automatically during setup.
- Select the "Guest" from the available wireless networks.
- Scroll through the Terms of Service and click "Accept." The "Accept" will not allow you to click until you scroll through the message.
- When your device is provided access, the screen will appear as such. You can now exit out of the ”Join Network” window.
Navigate to sso.norwich.edu and log in
Note: Don't bookmark sso.norwich.edu, as it will force you to sign in every time you visit. In this case, this is what we want to ensure you will be connected to wifi. Please bookmark myapps.norwich.edu instead.
Use the search box to find "Norwich Wi-Fi" and click on it
You will see a page that looks like this. Choose "Configure Profile Only" and then "Sign In"
This checks the token. It might make the screen flash as it connects to Microsoft to check your credentials. If it downloads a file called, sign out and sign back in to Norwich account on myapps.norwich.edu
Go back to the wifi.norwich.edu page if not already there. There should now be a button that says "Join Now." Click it.
It downloads a certificate. If it asks for permission, click "Allow"
Go to System Settings -> General -> Device Management and add the profile. Delete the old one if there is one.
Note: the location of the certificates may vary depending on the exact version of MacOS you're on. If this is not correct, see the screenshot below for more information.
Once installed, go to wifi and click "Norwich" and it should connect.
