How To: Connect to Norwich Wi-Fi from macOS Devices

  1. Join the Guest Network on your Mac-OS-based device
    • Select the "Guest" from the available wireless networks.
    • Scroll through the Terms of Service and click "Accept."  The "Accept" will not allow you to click until you scroll through the message.
    • When your device is provided access, the screen will appear as such. You can now exit out of the ”Join Network” window.
       
  2. Navigate to sso.norwich.edu and log in
  3. Use the search box to find "Norwich Wi-Fi" and click on it

  4. You will see a page that looks like this:
  5. Click “Join Now,” which will download the W2 software.
  6. Open the .dmg file and double-click on the "secure w2” logo.
  7. In the W2 application, click “next”.
  8. A webpage will open, prompting you to log in with your Norwich account information.
  9.  After signing in, you should receive a success message. Leave this tab open until installation is complete.
  10. Return to “Secure W2 Join Now” and click next again.
  11. Click “OK” and navigate to your “System Settings”. It may be automatically opened for you.
  12. Double-click on “Norwich University Norwich” and click “Install”
  13. Then click “Install” once more. You will have to enter your system’s password twice.
  14. Once you see this screen, click “Done” and close all tabs opened during the installation and configuration process. Upon installing the certificate on the Mac device, it will automatically connect to Norwich Wi-Fi.
