How to Connect to an Apple TV with an iOS Device

If you wish to connect to the AppleTV from your iPad:

  • First, swipe down from the TOP RIGHT corner of your screen to open your Control Center. (On an iPhone you will swipe up from the bottom.)
  • Then, select the “Screen Mirroring” option.

    1. If you wish to connect to the AppleTV from your iPad, swipe down from the TOP RIGHT corner of your screen to open your Control Center. (On an iPhone you will swipe up from the bottom.) 2. Select the “Screen Mirroring” option.
  • Next, select the name of the room you are physically in to connect to the AppleTV

    3. Select the name of the room you are physically in to connect to the AppleTV.
  • Finally, you will be prompted, on your device, to enter a 4-digit code that will appear on the screen.
    Enter the 4-digit code and your device will automatically connect to the Apple TV.

    4. You will be prompted, on your iPad, to enter a 4-digit code that will appear on the screen. Enter the 4-digit code and your iPad will automatically connect to the Apple TV.
