How to Connect to an Apple TV using a Mac Computer

If you wish to connect to the AppleTV from your MacBook:

  • First, click the Airplay button in the taskbar in the top right of your screen
  • Next, select the name of the room you are physically in to connect to the AppleTV

    1. If you wish to connect to the AppleTV from your MacBook: a. Click the Airplay button in the taskbar in the top right of your screen. b. Select the name of the room you are physically in to connect to the AppleTV.

You will then be prompted, on your MacBook, to enter a 4-digit code that will appear on the screen.

Enter the 4-digit code and your MacBook will automatically connect to the Apple TV.
