How To Connect to the Norwich WiFi on a Windows machine

 

 

Connect to the Norwich WiFi network in Windows 10

  1. From your computer desktop screen, select the Network icon on the taskbar. The icon that appears depends on your current connection state. If you don't see one of the network icons shown in the below images, select the Up arrow (^) to see if it appears.

The highlighted icon below indicates a WiFi connection has been established.

The highlighted icon below indicates that there is no internet connection.

The highlighted icon below indicates that an Ethernet (wired) connection has been established. If you see this icon, you do not need to connect to a wireless network.

  1. Choose the Norwich WiFi network (labelled 'Norwich') and then click Connect. If you see a 'Connect Automatically' checkbox, please feel free to select that option.

  1. If prompted, type your Norwich username, which can be found in your email address ([username​​​]​​​​@norwich.edu), and your Norwich password. After inputting your Do not use the 'Use my Windows User Account" box

If your username and password are correct, you will connect to the Norwich network.
