How to Add Shared Mailbox in New Outlook Desktop App for Windows

Once you've been added to a shared mailbox, please close and restart Outlook. The shared mailbox should appear automatically in your Folder pane. 

If the shared mailbox doesn't appear, you can add it manually by following the instructions below. 

  1. Select Mail from the navigation pane in the new Outlook. 

  1. In the Folder pane, right-click your account name and select Add shared folder or mailbox

  1. In the Add shared folder or mailbox window, type the name of the mailbox you want to access, for example, mgaa@norwich.edu
