IRONSCALES

We are excited to announce that the university is enhancing our email security by implementing IRONSCALES, a powerful email protection service designed to better defend against phishing, spam, and other cyber threats.

As part of this update, you will soon notice a new "Report Email" button in your email client. Much like the old Phish Alert Button, this operates the same to allow you to report emails, but it allows you to select what you are reporting the email for:

For more information or where to find the Report Email button in your version of Outlook, refer to this Knowledge Base Article: https://norwich.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1978/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=156431

What You Need to Know:

IRONSCALES will automatically detect and help block malicious emails. Basically, fewer spam/junk and malicious emails in your inbox!

New Red Banners will appear in emails when IRONSCALES flags an email as impersonation or potentially spoofing, warning you of the danger of a harmless-looking email. See this article that breaks down the Red Banners and what they might be keying off of in the email : https://norwich.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1978/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=156289

No action is needed on your part to activate this service—stay alert and make use of the reporting tool!
