Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments fail to map or maintain printers using PaperCut due to architecture mismatches, multi-session limitations, or missing session qualifiers. Therefore, printing for each user session is not process that can be scripted automatically. With each session in AVD, Norwich users must add a printer using PrintDeploy if they want to print documents from that service. The information below is the steps necessary to configure printing within the Virtual Space.
- Find the PrintDeploy icon on the desktop of your Virtual Desktop session, and launch the app.

- In the right hand column of PaperCut, click on the "Add Printers" menu.

- After using the search in the upper right, click "Install" next to the printer you would like to add.

- Selecting "My printers" will show that the device is now loaded. PrintDeploy knows to use your session user name and password for any jobs sent.
- Select Print in the document you want to print.
