How to Add a Norwich Email to Outlook in iOS

Adding Norwich Email to an iOS Device.

Mobile devices have become ubiquitous.  Most Students, nearly all Faculty, and Staff all carry mobile devices at this time.  Norwich IT supports the use of the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, on your personal device.  The following steps describe how you can configure Outlook so you can view your Norwich email on an iOS device.

 

  1.  On your iOS-based device, please install the Outlook application
  2. After installation, open the Outlook app.

  1. When the Outlook for Mobile app opens it will ask for you email address.

  1. After entering your email address it will redirect you to an Office365 authentication page.  Enter your Norwich password.

 

  1. After correctly entering your password, you will be prompted to complete MFA. 
  2. Outlook will ask you if you want to add another account.  When you decline, it will advance to the mailbox and start syncing your inbox.  

You have now added your Norwich email to the Outlook Application on your iOS device. 

 

*Outlook is the only application supported by Norwich IT for mobile device email clients.  Norwich Faculty and Staff are restricted to using only the Outlook Mobile app.
