How To Connect To Solstice using the Solstice App

If you do not already have the solstice application:

• First, enter the IP address, from the Solstice device displayed on the screen, into the address bar of your web browser
• Next, once the page loads, click “Get the App & Join in” to download the application
• Once downloaded, open the application

If you are using an Android or iOS device, the link will take you to your app store where you can download the Solstice mobile app

If you are on a Linux or Chromebook device, click the link under the green outline that says, “If you cannot run or download the application, launch in browser”, and follow the instructions to share your screen from a browser

If you already have the Solstice app on your device, open the app and continue to the next steps

• Once the Solstice application is open, scroll to find the room you are in, or click the search button and start typing name of the solstice device, from the screen, into the search bar.
• Select the device that corresponds to the name of the room you are physically in
• When prompted, enter the 4-digit Key Code, found underneath the name of the solstice device being displayed on the screen

Now that you are connected, you can share in several different ways. The easiest way is to share your entire desktop.

If you are on a Mac, you may have some directions to adjust your security preferences pop up, please follow those directions to allow Solstice to have access to your screen. You may also be asked to allow an audio driver to be installed, please allow this action so that your audio will be sent to the room speakers
