How To: Reset A Known Or Forgotten Norwich Password

If you have forgotten your password:

  1. Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/?whr=norwich.edu 
  2. Enter your Norwich email address (DO NOT include "stu,"), complete the character challenge, and click next.

  3. Select "I forgot my password." and click Next.  If you select the other option, this will only "unlock your account" should you have failed multiple authentications and your account was locked. 
  4. In the "Get back into your account" section, choose one of the available methods to verify your identity

  5. You will need to choose a second verification method after that:

Reset a Known Password:

  1. Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change
  2. If required, log in
  3. Enter your old password, new password, and click "Submit"

If you still can't access your account, contact user support for assistance.

After resetting your password, you may receive a confirmation email from an account such as "Microsoft on behalf of Norwich University." If you get a similar email, but you didn't recently reset your password, please contact user support at 802-485-2456 immediately.
