Secure W2 For Android Devices
Norwich IT working with our Vendors has enabled a simpler way to access Norwich wireless resources. Instead of using your Norwich credentials, you can install a certificate that completes authentication to the network for you. The advantage of Certificate-based authentication is not having to update your password on your device every time you change it.
- Head to the Norwich SSO Dashboard (http://sso.norwich.edu) on your Android device. You can also go to http://wifi.norwich.edu.

-
Launching the SecureW2 app from your Norwich SSO Launchpad will redirect you to the SecureW2 website.
-
What will be presented to you on the screen is the option to download and install the "App."

- Upon launching the application on your device you will be redirected to a Microsoft authentication sequence.

- After you complete authentication it will download the certificate to your phone.
- Upon downloading the certificate to the Android device it will automatically connect to Norwich Wi-Fi.

- Please take this time to delete the guest Wi-Fi from your Wireless Preferences.
