Start Menu Button
in the lower left
Your cursor will already be in the search box. Type "
Snipping Tool
" and press
Enter
.
When the Snipping Tool opens, click
New
on the left side of the window.
Select the area of your screen that you would like to capture.
After your selection is complete, click the
Black Floppy Disk Save Icon
.
Choose where you would like to save your screenshot and what you'd like to name it, and then click
Save
.

On your keyboard, press
Command
+
Shift
+
4
.
Select the area of your screen that you would like to capture.
The selection will automatically be saved to your desktop as a .png file.

These are the only two approved screen capture tools.
