How to Find Your Computer's MAC Address

Windows

  • Click the Start Menu Button in the lower left
  • Your cursor will already be in the search box. Type "cmd" and press Enter.
  • When the Command Line opens, type:
ipconfig /all
  • Press Enter.
  • Look for the MAC address you want to use. It will display information about every adapter connected to your computer.
  • The Physical Address is the MAC address.
  • If you're not sure which Physical Address you need, you can always take a screenshot and attach it to your ticket using the Attachment field.

macOS

  • Click the Apple button in the upper left corner.
  • Select System Preferences, or System Settings on MacOS Ventura or higher.
  • Click Network.
  • On the left, be sure to select the connection you are currently using. It will have a green circle next to it.
  • Click the Advanced button in the lower right.
  • Click the Hardware tab.
  • The MAC address will be listed at the top.
