How to Create a Signature in Outlook for Windows

Email is the primary method of communication used by Staff and students alike. While there are many different applications to send and receive an email with Norwich IT support Microsoft Outlook. It is considered a Norwich standard to include a signature block with all messages when sending an email. The following document will provide instructions on creating a signature in Outlook for Windows, and the Norwich signature standard is.

 

  1. Open the Outlook application on your Norwich workstation.

  1. Please Navigate to File in the menu bar and select options from the drop down with Outlook open.

  1. In the new Options window that opens, select Signatures.

  1. In the Signatures window, click on the button labeled New.

  1. Apply a name to the signature. You can create multiple signatures based on the account from which the message is sent from or if your message is even a frequent response. Please click OK to continue.
