How to Create a Signature for Outlook app on iOS.

Email is the primary method of communication used by Staff and students alike. While there are many different applications to send and receive an email with Norwich IT support Microsoft Outlook. It is considered a Norwich standard to include a signature block with all messages when sending an email. The following document will provide instructions on creating a signature in Outlook for iOS.

 

  1. On your Mobile Device, Navigate to this article in the browser of your choice.
  2. Click on view below the logo in the right-hand column.  This will open up the image in a new browser window. 

  1. Tap on the image in the new browser window, and select "Save to Photos." This will download the image file to Photos on your iOS device.

  1. Open the Outlook application on your iPad or iPhone.

  1. Click on your avatar in the upper-left-hand corner of the application window (To the left of Inbox in the photo attached.)

  1. Click now on the gear at the bottom of the leftmost column.

  1. Under the heading, email, select Signature. Add the text of your signature per the standard found here.

  1. After adding the text for the signature, click the add picture icon to the left of "Body."
  2. That will open up the Photos Library on your iOS device. Select the previously saved image.

  1. Now that the image has been added, click the checkmark in the upper right.  You now have a complete signature, including the new Norwich logo, on your iOS device.
